U.S. Personal Income rose by $116.5 billion in January
February 28, 2020 In January, personal income rose by $116.5 billion (0.6%) in the U.S, according to estimates released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Disposable personal income (DPI) climbed $30.6 billion (0.2%) and personal consumption expenditures (PCE) grew $101.4 billion (0.6%). Real DPI rose 0.5% in January and Real PCE climbed 0.1%. The PCE price index rose 0.1%. The PCE price index less food and energy increased 0.1%. February 27, 2020 Brent Oil Brent oil prices decreased by 14.15% or US$8.39, as prices fell this week relative to the prior week. Oil traded on February 27, 2020 at a price of US$50.92 per barrel relative to US$59.31 on February 20, 2020. Brent oil opened 2020 year at US$66.25 per barrel. Petrojam prices 87 Octane prices increased this week by 2.39% (JMD$3.05). Additionally, 90 Octane increased by 2.34% or (JMD$3.05) this week. 87 Octane and 90 Octane opened the year 2020 at J$127.27 and J$130.11 respectively and now trades at J$130.79 and J$133.63 per litre respectively.
