Euro area international trade in goods surplus reaches €18.9 billion, €3.3 billion surplus for EU28
April 17, 2018 Euro area (EA19) exports of goods to the rest of the world in February 2018 was €177.5 billion, an increase of 3.0% compared with February 2017 (€172.3 billion). On the other hand, imports from the rest of the world stood at €158.6 billion, a rise of 1.5% compared with February 2017 (€156.2 billion). Consequently, the euro area recorded an €18.9 billion surplus in trade in goods with the rest of the world in February 2018, compared with a surplus of €16.1 billion in February 2017.
