CPFV reports year-end total comprehensive income of BBD$3.88 million
Date: December 30, 2019 Eppley Caribbean Property Fund Limited (CPFV), for the year ended September 30, 2019 reported net rental income of $1.80 million (2018: $1.52 million), an 18% increase. In addition, share of profit of investments accounted for using the equity method grossly increased, moving from $1.56 million in 2018 to $2.95 million for 2019. The Company stated, “These increases are largely attributable to the Fund’s increased stake in the Cave Shepherd Building, realizing a full year’s income from the acquisition of Emerald City Mall in 2018 and the recent acquisition of assets in Jamaica and Barbados.” Fair value

December 27, 2019 Brent Oil Brent oil prices increased by 2.07% or US$1.38, as prices increased this week relative to the prior week. Oil traded on December 26, 2019 at a price of US$67.92 per barrel relative to US$66.54 on December 19, 2019. Brent oil began the year at US$55.95 per barrel. Petrojam prices 87 Octane prices increased this week by 0.20% (JMD$0.26). Additionally, 90 Octane increased by 0.20% or (JMD$0.26) this week. 87 Octane and 90 Octane opened the year at J$116.75 and J$119.59 respectively and now trades at J$127.20 and J$130.04 per litre respectively.
